Thruxton National 900m Circuit
A very cold but dry day at Thruxton Kart Centre sees Round 4 of the Thunderbolt Championship restart after lockdown. Two groups of Cadets fighting for the all important points, only one practice session to learn the track and then straight into timed qualification.
Cadet Group 1 Qualifying
Wes sticks it on pole with a time of 51.3 by .119 of a second from Klimas and Hamilton. Then came Gray, Parry, Morris, Smedley, Herridge.

Cadet Group 2 Qualifying
Leach puts it on pole with a time of 49.523 which was 2 tenths faster than Ampofo-Anim who was followed by Dixon. Then came Warner, Ampofo-Anim, Smedley, Garrett and Winfield.

Cadet Group 1 Heat 1
Hamilton wins by 3 tenths in front of Klimas who managed to snatch fastest lap on the last lap of the thrilling race which saw the top three covered by a second. Wes was 3rd with parry following him in 4th. Then came Morris, Gray, Herridge and Smedley.

Cadet Group 2 Heat 1
Leach win a race he absolutely dominated winning by 5 second and fastest lap from Ampofo-Anim, Warner, Dixon, Ampofo-Anim, Garrett, Winfield and Smedley.

Cadet Group 1 Heat 2
Klimas wins another close race by just 1 second from Hamilton who got the fastest lap then came Wes another second behind. Then came Morris, Parry, Gray, Smedley and Herridge.

Cadet Group 2 Heat 2
Ampofo-Anim wins by 2 seconds over Warner and Dixon. Then came Ampofo-Anim with the fastest lap of 48.981. Winfield followed with Garrett close on his heals. Then Smedley came 7th with Leach not even starting.

Cadet Group 1 Final
Hamilton wins a dramatic battle which saw him and Klimas collide on the final lap to let Wes into second but Klimas did get fastest lap though. Then came Parry, Herridge, Smedley and Morris unluckily had a dnf from a comfortable p4 and Gray was 8th.

Cadet Group 2 Final
Ampofo-Anim wins a four-way battle between the top 4 drivers which saw Warner who was leading for most of the race tumble down to 4th. Then came Dixon and leach who got the fastest lap of a 48.657. Then was Warner, Garrett, Winfield, Smedley and Ampofo-Anim.
